CONTACT LENSES

We offer the latest in contact lens technology to ensure clear and comfortable vision.

HARD, SOFT, AND SPECIALITY

Contacts are a great option for those with an active lifestyle or for those who want to decrease their dependence on glasses.

After a comprehensive eye examination, our Doctors of Optometry will recommend contact lenses based on your visual needs. We have lenses that target specific eye conditions such as astigmatism, difficulty reading up close, dry eyes, and keratoconus. We will take the time to offer you the best vision and comfort. Regardless of the type of lenses you wear, an annual eye examination is required to ensure good eye health. Schedule an appointment at OPTX OPTOMETRY.

Soft lenses: Disposable lenses which can correct for nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and presbyopia. They are replaced daily, biweekly, or monthly.

Gas Permeable (GP)/Scleral lenses: Offer sharp vision for most vision problems, irregular corneas and dry eyes. They are more durable than soft contact lenses but require a longer adaptation period.

Multifocal/Monovision lenses: Offer both distance and near correction like bifocal/progressive glasses.

Ortho-K: Also know as Orthokeratology; These are gas permeable lenses that temporarily reshape the cornea to reduce nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. The patient wears these special lenses overnight and removes them in the morning. This provides the user clear vision throughout the day.

Color Contact lenses: Enhance or change your eye color. These lenses come in a variety of colors for both light and dark eyes.
